There are over 3,000 students identified as homeless in Allegheny County. The mission of Homeless Children’s Education Fund is to advance the education of these students…but we can’t do it alone. YOU CAN assist in decreasing the number of students experiencing homelessness.

Throughout the month of October, we will host events to help educate the community about how YOU CAN make a difference. We welcome you to join us, bring a friend, and share with your contacts. Only together will we succeed.
HCEF Winnie's Wagon Dedication Celebration
Children's Museum of Pittsburgh, Pittsburgh, PA
Wednesday, November 1, 6 - 8 pm
After a year and a half of fundraising, designing, and building, we will unveil Winnie's Wagon, our educational classroom on wheels, at a special dedication ceremony at the Children's Museum of Pittsburgh.
In partnership with Children's Museum of Pittsburgh, Winnie's Wagon will travel anywhere students are experiencing homelessness, providing tutoring sessions, school supplies, wrap-around services and more.
Speakers include Congresswoman Summer Lee and Saleem Ghubril, Pittsburgh Promise
